ELIOT USHER | CEO & PRESIDENT
Mr. Usher serves as the CEO of Griffin Construction. Recognizing the value that Griffin Construction brings to the market was easy for Eliot through his tenure as a Vice President and Senior Project Manager at Griffin for 3 years before his acquisition of the company in early 2009. Mr. Usher began his career while in college working for a general contractor specializing in construction of large religious facilities. Prior to joining Griffin, he also managed projects for a design-build general contractor specializing in financial facilities. Mr. Usher received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Eliot is a founding member of the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce and also serves on the Construction Board of Appeals for the new City of Dunwoody.

JAMES HANSON | VICE-PRESIDENT
Mr. Hanson serves as Vice President for Griffin Construction. For three decades "Jim" Hanson has effectively managed a broad range of construction projects, including Ground-up Commercial, Retail Shopping Centers, Dental and Medical Facilities, Office Buildings, Hospitality, Restaurants, Interiors, Multi-Family, Healthcare, and Custom Residential. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Texas) and was ranked in the top 5% of his class pursuing a Masters' Degree in Education (San Francisco). Jim's innovative approaches to building successful relationships and tools for business excellence has garnered him an Entrepreneurial award from the Dallas Morning News as well as a U.S. Patent. A former Director of Lake Lanier Islands, Jim enjoys wildlife and fishing, as well as music and writing.
